I read somewhere that heavy curtains or even bookshelves packed with books can actually help block sound between rooms. Seems kinda odd, but I guess it makes sense since dense materials absorb sound waves better. I'm thinking of rearranging my furniture now, haha. Has anyone tried other random household items to cut down noise without spending a ton on professional stuff? Curious if there's more quirky tricks out there.
